One of Cambria's most delightful treasures can be found in the West Village. Tucked into a sweet little courtyard is the ultra cool tasting room for Black Hand Cellars, a local boutique winery. Taste the fine varietals and visit with the helpful staff. Black Hand Cellars farm their vineyard by hand, using the latest vineyard practices to produce quality grapes for their Syrah.

The best way to experience their wines is to visit their tasting room in Cayucos, the classic surf town on California’s central coast. They’re open everyday but Tuesday in the winter, and everyday in the summer.

Owners Chuck and Kim Mulligan built their winery to reflect the unique country atmosphere of the surrounding area. While it still a general store and café, Sebastian's is also the gathering place to sample the wines of Hearst Ranch Winery. Local residents and visitors from all over the world savor the amazing Chardonnay, Rosé, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Late Harvest Zinfandel, and our Red Cuvée, White Cuvée and Barrel Select Cuvée Blends in our quaint and inviting tasting room. Historic remnants of the past alongside the inlaid copper bar top and rustic barn wood siding take you back to the turn-of-the-century when Old San Simeon Village was the center of rural commerce.

This wine tasting room is located in Cambria’s “West Village” at 801 Main Street near the corner of Main and Sheffield Streets. There you’ll find gifts, open bottles of award-winning wines, and a great time! When not making wine, Todd will be your host. He will gladly discuss the wines in detail with you in a fun and engaging way. They are open daily from 11 am to 5 pm.
